Create Your Own Trolling Depth Charts
- Set up your rig exactly as you intend to troll.
- Estimate and enter the height of the rod tip above the water surface.
- Release as much line as suggested by the app, which starts at 10 feet and increases at each step.
- Measure the line angle with the phone. The app will show the lure’s depth.
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until the lure is deep enough.
- Use the slider to show the line length for any desired depth.
