This is the privacy policy for the Trolling Angles commercial mobile app and the related website https://trollingangles.com, collectively the “Service”. The app and website were developed and are maintained by D A Silkworth LLC, an independent software developer (“we”, “us”, “our”). The mobile app is provided as an Android app distributed through Google Play, and as an Apple iOS app for iPhones distributed through the Apple App Store. The website is a standard site written with WordPress.com software and hosted by Bluehost.com.
This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies for the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information of those who use the app or website.
If you choose to use the Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.
TROLLING ANGLES APP PRIVACY POLICY

Apple

Ads
Trolling Angles Version 2 and later for Android does not deliver ads, nor use the Google Android Advertising Id to track individual users.
The Trolling Angles Version 1 app for Android delivers Ads from third parties through Google AdMob. https://policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. These Ads may collect and use personal information and may use cookies. If you upgrade to the Elite product level, the app does not deliver Ads and does not collect personal information or use cookies.
Trolling Angles for Apple iPhone does not deliver ads, nor use any means to track individual user for advertising purposes.
Location Permission
The Trolling Angles app can use the device’s GPS (Global Positioning System) to measure speed. To do so, the app will request permission to use Location Services and may request you to enable Location Services. By enabling Location Services, you may be giving other apps on your device the ability to know and use your location. Trolling Angles does not collect or store your location information.
The Trolling Angles app may be used effectively without the GPS and Location Services if you have another means of determining boat speed, although some features will not work.
App Data
The app allows you to create and store data for trolling configurations, and to record your user settings. This data is retained on your device and is not sent to our servers or collected by us. It may be saved by the Android or Apple system for backup and upgrade purposes as “App Data” in your own Google Drive or Apple iCloud account. This App Data data is removed from your device if you uninstall the app.
Log Data
Whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we may collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, stack traces, and other information.
This log data is collected by the platform (Google or Apple) and may be sent to the us in a way that does not include personally identifiable information. We use this information to diagnose and fix programming issues.
Analytics
The Google and Apple platforms provide us consolidated information to analyze app usage such as the number of users and their usage patterns. These statistics do not include any personally identifiable information. This information is used to to improve the app’s functionality and marketing.
Use of the Website
Some features of the app use the website to provide services, including help and usage documentation, policies, and terms of use. These features are operated under the privacy policy of the trollingangles.com website, described in this document.

Comments

Media
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
